Apr 25, 2018 · Arizona_Joe 3 years ago #1. Bought a sony x900e and setting it up and hdr video is listed as supported in the 4k details but not hdr10 gaming. I have all the hdr settings set to auto but I tried starting up Rise of the tomb raider and it won't let me adjust the hdr settings. Also I'm in Game Mode.

It says "Your TV supports 4k 10-bit at 60 Hz' and has a tick mark for every other HDR and 4K feature for videos,etc. What setting should I change in my TV in order to support HDR10 for gaming I have a Thomson 43UC6406 TV.

Then, my Xbox said my TV supports Dolby Vision, but it does not support HDR10. This is false, and I confirmed with the TV manufacturer that the display most definitely supports HDR10. Someone else suggested the "trick" of turning on "YCC 4:2:2" in the video mode screen. Now the Xbox says my TV supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, but not for gaming.

It has HDR10 on it and I have my xbox One X plugged into HDMI port ! which does support HDR in that port and I have gone into the settings for the TV and turned on HDR10 on that port as well.... but my xbox one X is still telling me "Your TV setup doesn't support HDR10 for gaming.

Oct 22, 2019 · Does the lack of 10+ support have an impact on Amazon Video performance on LG TVs? In theory, as I have a Panasonic 820 BR player, I can (subject to checking) possibly get round the HDR10+ issue, assuming that the embedded Amazon Video app. on the player also supports HDR10+. The player supports DV, HDR10 and HDR10+.

Hi @Clem_Dye well I have read and it has been told on sevral occasions that LG will not surport HDR10+ the reason behind this is apparently LG "Active HDR" feature is as good as and or has the same quality as HDR10+. Now how correct or accurate that is I'm not sure.
On top of that, HDR runs at a maximum 60 fps, giving you smoother images, especially when gaming. In the video world, there are different flavors of HDR, most notably Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and the most basic version, HDR10.
