The dbrand Grip™ is the most advanced iPhone case in the world, pairing military-grade impact protection with a striking minimalist design. Buy an iPhone 13 case , iPhone 13 Pro case , or iPhone 13 Pro Max case , and be sure to customize it with your choice of skin.
In addition to top-of-the-line scratch protection, dbrand's Tempered Glass screen protector features smooth edges, a flawless edge-to-edge precision fit, and an installation process so easy, even you can do it. Buy a pair.
Each new iteration of the Grip case is better than the one that came before, and that applies to more than just failure rates. Speaking of failure rates: all of these improvements were in place by the time we launched iPhone 11-series Grip cases. The failure rate for these cases decreased exponentially... but didn't disappear entirely.
With the Grip, dbrand includes a 3.5mm adaptor with its bumper case for phones with headphone jacks ( and the Pixel 2 XL ). As the case appears a bit thicker over the port, the company most likely wanted to make sure user’s music accessories still worked.
But because the skins wrap around the edges of the phone, using them with cases is nearly impossible. With the Grip, dbrand is going to be selling specially-cut skins that will work with its bumper case.
Removing the Grip out of the box, you’ll find a small card where you can see the robots taking over humans. The card also says “Grip is just the beginning…” which seems to be true. You won’t find the headphone jack adaptor this time around, because as you all know, the jack is dead.
It wouldn't offer much grip or impact protection. The Grip's outer rim is made from an elastomer with a low Shore Hardness. As a result, the material is grippy and impact-resistant, but much more malleable and thus more likely to deform. That's why we bond the elastomer to a polycarbonate skeleton.
